What personal data AMUSE. processes, why, and your rights.
Who is responsible. YOUNG, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Contact: desk@amuse.nl.
What we process. (1) Server logs: IP address, browser, pages requested, kept for security for up to 30 days. (2) Newsletter: your email address, language, the date and IP of your consent, confirmation and unsubscribe dates. (3) Reading statistics: anonymous page-view counters with no personal identifier.
Why and on what basis. Logs: legitimate interest in running a secure service. Newsletter: your consent (double opt-in), which you can withdraw at any time with the link in every email or by writing to us. Analytics and advertising, if enabled, are described on the cookies page and require your consent where the law demands it.
Who receives data. Hosting and email delivery providers acting on our instructions (Vercel Inc. for hosting and Turso for the database, Resend Inc. for email), bound by data-processing agreements; data may be processed outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.
How long. Newsletter data until you unsubscribe plus a suppression record so we do not email you again; logs 30 days; correspondence as long as needed to handle it.
Your rights. Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Write to desk@amuse.nl.
