Michelin Guide Texas drops its ceremony for a press release
The 2026 Texas selection lands on 8 October as a document, not an evening. After two staged years in Houston, the guide is spending less on the state that pays it.
Michelin Guide Toronto reveals its 2026 stars on 22 September
Chefs find out on the night at the Liberty Grand, behind closed doors. Two weeks later Texas gets the same news by press release, with nobody in the room at all.
The country still has one three-star. It is not in Amsterdam.
De Librije kept the highest rating in the Dutch guide at the October ceremony in Maastricht, months after the death of Jonnie Boer. Twenty-one years at the top, and the address is still Zwolle.
