Monsieur Dior Milan brings Enrico Bartolini to Montenapoleone
The fashion house's first Italian restaurant opens inside its renovated Via Monte Napoleone boutique, with €25 lunch dishes, a €150 dinner menu and Giuseppe Allegretta as resident chef.

Monsieur Dior Milan, the fashion house's first restaurant in Italy, opens on 18 September at Via Monte Napoleone 12 with Enrico Bartolini in charge of the menu. It sits inside the Dior boutique, which reopens the same day after roughly two years of renovation.
Bartolini is the most decorated Italian chef in the Michelin Guide: his restaurants hold 14 stars in total according to the opening announcement, three of them at Enrico Bartolini al Mudec. Monsieur Dior is his third Milan address, after the Mudec and Anima at Milano Verticale. The daily cooking falls to resident chef Giuseppe Allegretta, with Monica Biella as general manager and Matteo Inzaina running the dining room.
Bartolini said he studied the Dior archives on Avenue Montaigne and "worked like a fashion designer". The dishes carry names to match, from Spaghetti J'Adior to a Soufflé Pied-de-poule that borrows the name of the houndstooth check.
Dior's Milan restaurant prices lunch like a bistro and dinner like a boutique.
What Monsieur Dior Milan charges
The menu reads like a collection: twelve dishes, three each of starters, first courses, mains and desserts, with three new proposals added in rotation. The kitchen serves from breakfast to dinner, and in the afternoon there is an étagère of ten small preparations, five sweet and five savoury.
At lunch every savoury dish costs €25 and desserts run from €12 to €20, according to the menu published by Scatti di Gusto. Dinner is à la carte or a five-course chef's menu at €150. Starters go up to €60 for the Insalata Couture, the Risotto Signature with beetroot and gorgonzola sauce is €35 and the Filetto Monsieur Dior, a beef fillet, tops the mains at €50.
Lunch is the cheapest way into the building; dinner is priced for the street it stands on.
Dior takes its restaurant model to Italy
The formula has already been tested in Paris. Monsieur Dior at 30 Avenue Montaigne, the house's historic address, is run by Yannick Alléno and earned a Michelin star at the France 2026 ceremony in March. In the same city, Anne-Sophie Pic's new restaurant at the Fondation Cartier shows the same pull between luxury institutions and starred chefs.
For Dior the logic is simple: a boutique sells for an hour, a table keeps the client for two. Whether Milan can repeat the Paris star will be clearer on 12 November, when the Michelin Guide Italy 2027 is presented in Piacenza, eight weeks after opening.
