Two Michelin stars, three Bib Gourmands, a new Repsol Sol for a Japanese counter and two bars that every Sevillian will name: where to book in Seville this autumn.

The best restaurants in Seville in 2026 come down to these 13 tables, drawn from the Michelin Guide's current Seville selection, the Guía Repsol and two bars every local will name, running from a twelve-course tasting menu to a €3.50 tapa of spinach and chickpeas. If you book only one, make it Abantal; if you want fish, make it Cañabota.

Michelin's 2026 guide lists 16 restaurants in the city: two with one star, Abantal and Cañabota, three Bib Gourmands and 11 more selected addresses. The Guía Repsol gave its only new Sol in Seville this year to Kinu, a Japanese counter near the cathedral. The best restaurants in Seville are spread across the old town, Triana and Nervión, and most close on Sunday, Monday or both.

For the tapas themselves, from espinacas con garbanzos to montaditos de pringá, start with our guide to what to eat in Seville. Prices below come from the restaurants' websites and the Guía Repsol; where none is published we give Michelin's symbols, which run from €€ (moderate) to €€€€ (spare no expense).

Seville's two Michelin stars are a few streets apart, but its oldest bar is still the cheapest table on the list.

Abantal, Calle Alcalde José de la Bandera: first of the best restaurants in Seville

Julio Fernández Quintero has led Abantal since it opened in 2004 and has held a Michelin star since 2008; the Guía Repsol gives it two Soles. His tasting menus rewrite Andalusian flavours with local, seasonal produce, served in a dining room styled like a museum, with a chef's table for up to ten.

Nine courses cost €105 and twelve cost €125, with wine pairings at €160 and €190, according to the restaurant. Book on its website, and check the opening days when you do.

Cañabota, Calle Orfila

Opened in October 2016, Cañabota holds a Michelin star for fish and shellfish. You walk in past a counter of the day's catch, and the open kitchen, run by Marcos Nieto and Rafa García, cooks it over holm-oak charcoal. There is a daily à la carte as well as tasting menus.

The Guía Repsol lists two menus, Albedrío at €100 and Confianza at €140. Michelin shows it open Monday to Friday. Its informal sibling, La Barra de Cañabota at Orfila 5, serves oysters, ensaladilla and croquetas at the counter.

Leartá, Calle Padre Tarín

Rita Llanes and Manu Lachica opened Leartá in 2024 with four tables and 14 seats, and won a first Repsol Sol in 2025. There is one seasonal tasting menu, with a vegetarian version, built on southern produce such as Cumbres Mayores ham and white prawns from Isla Cristina.

The Guía Repsol lists the menu at €72. Michelin shows dinner only on Wednesday and Thursday and both services from Friday to Sunday; it is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Sobretablas, Calle Colombia

Camila Ferraro opened Sobretablas in 2018 and cooks contemporary food with strong regional roots, while sommelier Robert Tetas runs the dining room. The name comes from the stage in Jerez winemaking when producers decide whether a wine will become fino or oloroso.

The Sobretablas Deluxe tasting menu costs €75, or €120 with wines, according to the Guía Repsol, which has given it a Sol since 2021. Michelin singles out langoustine with chicharrones. Closed on Sunday and Monday.

Kinu, Calle Miguel Mañara

Behind a curtain a few steps from the cathedral, Kinu has served Japanese food since 2022 under adviser José Cerdá. In 2026 it became the only restaurant in Seville to win a first Sol from the Guía Repsol.

The guide lists a €75 tasting menu and an omakase at the bar for €120. Book the bar well ahead; it is the smaller of the two options.

Tribeca, Nervión

Open since 2004 near the Jardines de la Buhaira, Tribeca cooks market fish, much of it from the Gulf of Cádiz, plus good meat, often sold by the cut. Michelin describes a tasting menu of 12 savoury courses and three desserts; the Guía Repsol, which has given it a Sol since 2014, recommends veal sweetbreads and grouper fried in a ginger batter.

Michelin price band €€€€; the Guía Repsol puts it above €60 a head. Lunch is served Monday to Saturday, dinner Tuesday to Saturday.

Jaylu, Triana

A family fish restaurant since 1967, between Los Remedios and Triana, Jaylu buys much of its catch from boats that still use traditional methods such as the trasmallo net, and cooks it simply. Start with the fino salmorejo with prawns that Michelin recommends.

Michelin rates it €€€€; the Guía Repsol, which first gave it a Sol in 2015, puts the average spend at €35 to €60. It is closed on Mondays and on Sunday evenings.

Lalola de Javi Abascal, Calle Marco Sancho

Javi Abascal has built Lalola around the acorn-fed Ibérico pig, down to the desserts, in the covered patio of the 18th-century One Shot Palacio Conde de Torrejón hotel. It is a Michelin Bib Gourmand and holds a Repsol Sol.

The Guía Repsol lists the 100% Ibérico tasting menu at €65; in June Abascal launched a short-run all-Ibérico menu at €68 with a new supplier, Montesierra, according to Directo al Paladar. Open Tuesday to Saturday.

Balbuena y Huertas, Triana

This Bib Gourmand on Calle San Jacinto sits in a regionalist building it shares with the Cavalta boutique hotel, but has its own entrance. The kitchen updates Andalusian recipes, with half portions, a section of rice dishes and a tasting menu called Alegría.

Michelin price band €€. It is open every day from 1pm to midnight, which makes it the easiest booking on this list.

Az-Zait, San Lorenzo

Named after the Arabic word for olive juice, Az-Zait on Plaza de San Lorenzo is a Bib Gourmand with two classic dining rooms, a cheese trolley and a digestif trolley. The short menu mixes traditional and international dishes with contemporary touches, alongside tasting menus.

Michelin price band €€. Bookings are taken by phone; it is closed on Sunday.

Basque Eneko, Plaza de la Magdalena

Eneko Atxa's Seville restaurant occupies the ground floor of the Radisson Collection Magdalena Plaza hotel, with sharing plates, a grill for smoked presa and aged txuleta beef, and two tasting menus, Labur and Luze.

Michelin price band €€€. It is open every day for lunch and dinner.

Eslava, San Lorenzo

In San Lorenzo since 1988, at Calle Eslava 3, Eslava created the modern Sevillian tapa: an egg yolk cooked at low temperature on a penny bun sponge, which won the city's tapas competition in 2010, according to Time Out. It costs €6.20 on the 2026 menu, the cigarro para Bécquer €6.50 and salmorejo €4.90.

The bar is walk-in only; the dining room takes bookings. To make salmorejo's thinner cousin at home, follow our gazpacho andaluz recipe.

El Rinconcillo, Santa Catalina

El Rinconcillo, at Calle Gerona 40, dates itself to 1670 and calls itself the oldest bar in Seville. Order the espinacas con garbanzos, €3.50 a tapa or €11 a ración, and battered salt cod at €3.30.

The bar does not take bookings, so arrive early, above all at weekends.

How we chose

We started from the Michelin Guide's 2026 Seville selection and the Guía Repsol 2026, picked both starred restaurants, all three Bib Gourmands and six restaurants with a Sol or a Michelin listing, and added two tapas bars, so that the best restaurants in Seville are covered at every price. Manzil, ranked by Opinionated About Dining, is left out while it moves to new premises.

Every address, distinction and price was checked on 24 October 2026 against the Michelin and Repsol pages and the restaurants' own websites, and none had announced a closure. Carrying on to the capital? See our list of the best restaurants in Madrid.
