Beefbar opens a London flagship at Broadwick Soho
The Monaco-founded steakhouse group takes over Dear Jackie's Broadwick Soho space with Kobe and Wagyu cuts, plus two dishes made only for London.

Beefbar London opens its flagship on 10 September 2026, taking over the basement dining room and ground-floor bar inside Broadwick Soho that previously ran as Dear Jackie.
The steakhouse group was founded by Riccardo Giraudi in Monte Carlo in 2005 and now trades in cities including Monaco, Dubai and Riyadh, built on a Riviera-glamour identity applied to whichever room it takes over, the same instinct behind Nancy Silverton's new Los Angeles steakhouse. The Soho address becomes its most prominent UK site, superseding an earlier, smaller Beefbar in Chelsea.
The Beefbar London menu
A restaurant is never just about the food - it's the flavours, the energy and the design.
The kitchen runs on imported beef: Japanese Kobe and Australian Wagyu sit alongside the group's standing recipes, including its house sauce served across every Beefbar room. Two dishes exist only in London: a Wagyu shepherd's pie and a Cordon Bleu finished with truffle, both built for a British table rather than lifted from the Monaco original. The tableware carries Beefbar's playful emoji print, a signature since Monaco.
"A restaurant is never just about the food - it's the flavours, the energy and the design," Giraudi said of the opening, framing the London menu as an extension of that approach rather than a translation of it.
Martin Brudnizki Studio designed the interiors and reworked the terrace for service that runs from lunch into late night. The layout keeps the address's ground-floor bar in place beneath a subterranean dining room, the same footprint Dear Jackie and Bar Jackie used before the handover, a short walk from where Bon Bao opened its bao counter earlier this year.
A hotel partnership built on trust
Broadwick Soho's managing director, Joshua Gardner, said the hotel "cares passionately about creating experiences that guests genuinely enjoy and remember" and that Beefbar "feels completely at home in Dear Jackie." Giraudi has said a prior friendship with hotel owner Noel Hayden shaped the deal, rather than a straightforward landlord search.
Dear Jackie closes as a concept in the handover; its ground-floor bar reopens under the Beefbar name alongside the basement dining room. For Beefbar, the site is now the group's UK flagship, with no further London openings announced.
The full à la carte list had not been published when service began, with only the two London-exclusive dishes confirmed in advance.
